Rt. Hon. Jack Straw MP, Rt. Hon Simon Hughes MP and Mr. Fabian Hamilton MP support the findings of Curriculum for Cohesion

On Wednesday, June 20th the Curriculum for Cohesion, represented by our Patrons Rt. Hon. Sadiq Khan MP and Mr. Mohammed Amin, and our Lead Researcher, Dr. Matthew Tariq Wilkinson, presented its aims and recommendations for the National Curriculum for History and Religious Education to a combined meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Groups for Education and on Islamophobia.

As a result of this presentation, Rt. Hon. Jack Straw MP and Rt. Hon. Simon Hughes MP, co-chairs of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia, and Mr. Fabian Hamilton MP, co- chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Education, made a firm commitment to write to the Secretary of State for Education, Rt. Hon. Michael Gove MP, commending the quality of the research and recommendations of Curriculum for Cohesion.
