Curriculum for Cohesion briefs senior Old Bailey judges

By Dr. Matthew Wilkinson

Monday, 27 January. Dr. Matthew Wilkinson was invited by Judge Brian Barker, the Recorder of London, the senior judge at the Old Bailey to address senior judges at the Old Bailey on the subject of Young British male Muslim criminality, Shariah and Jihad. The talk which described Muslim criminality in the UK in terms of the interaction of various ‘malign presences’ with a number of ‘noxious absences’ was well received by the 12 judges. It stimulated a lively, relevant discussion amongst the judges and will hopefully lead to further collaboration between Curriculum for Cohesion and the judiciary.
