All-Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia – 5th March

Dr. Matthew Tariq Wilkinson was invited by Rt. Hon Simon Hughes MP, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats, to present a Curriculum for Cohesion to him in the House of Commons with a view to seeing how it might complement Mr. Hughes’s work as chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia.

Mr. Hughes was impressed with our approach and believes that a curricular approach to combatting Islamophobia may prove very productive. He has invited CfC to make a presentation to All-Party Parliamentary Group on Islamophobia before the Summer recess to further this possibility.
